Hey Kids - Want to be on the Radio?

Kids can create a radio announcement (shout out) in any form (poem, song, essay, etc.) and submit it below to possibly air on the radio.

Visit our partner, The Governor's Prevention Partnership for easy-to-understand, no-nonsense information on issues like drugs, bullying and under-age drinking. Use this information to write your own Kids Shout Out announcement! Children 8-12 and teens are encouraged to participate.

All entries must be received by 8/17/08 and only one entry per child.

Entries will be chosen at random, and you will be contacted regarding dates and times for your child to record their Shout Out at our studios in Farmington.

Or you can attend one of our Kids Shout Out Events where one of the stations will be on-site to record Shout Outs. Each event will be limited to 2-hours and we will record Shout Outs on a first come basis. You DO NOT need an invitation to attend a Kids Shout Out event, and you DO NOT have to submit your Shout Out prior.

Prior to recording at CBS Radio studios or at a Shout Out event, all Shout Outs will be reviewed for content and should NOT contain any swears. CBS Radio reserves the right to edit any content for any reason.

If you are under the age of 13, we cannot accept information from you sent through the internet. However, you may still participate in our Kids Shout Out Program. Please come to one of the live events listed below, with your Shout Out. Be sure to print out the release form and have your parent or guardian sign it.
